Behind the Screen is a 101-level educational YouTube series focusing on media production rather than film literary theory.
The primary goal was to set aside the standard questions about plot and story structure and, instead, deal with questions like "what is shutter speed and framerate and how does it influence aesthetic?", "How to TV Ratings work?", and "How is sound design incorporated in video games?".
The decision to have the series be production oriented was so I could lean on my career as a professional audio engineer and my undergraduate degree which was, itself, production oriented. This would allow me to serve as a credible subject matter expert.
